Carlito says it in the movie

“fukking kids. Move a couple ounces, think they’re a big shot. Make a few bucks while I'm in the joint, I gotta respect 'em. fukk that.”

And then Pachanga adds in his dikkriding “Yeah fukk that shyt” :russ:

if you watch the scene, Benny is rude to everyone around him and has an aura of cockiness to him. The waiter, his friends, his girl. Carlito takes that in.

watched this again last week. My top 3 film.

did this have a big buzz when it came out?
It actually had pretty good buzz if memory serves correct. Critics loved it, my parents who rarely go to the movies went out to see it and people were talking about it. :ehh:

I also love Al Pacino's voiceover narration. Narration is often frowned upon in movies because it makes everything too on the nose. It wasn't laughable like Harrison Fords cut narration in blade runner, it actually felt authentic and put you into the movie. It also added to the gangster movie vibe to it.

He definitely could've handled way better you can put your foot down without making enemies. Carlito wasn't even in the fukking game anymore why take it that route like that shyt won't bite you.
