Speaking as somebody born and raised in Houston I always wondered this myself. But to be honest there’s no scenery or anything that stands out that makes you wanna film here. I love my city but it is what it is

Huge homogeneous all plains city where you constantly have to drive to get anywhere. Boring and pandering architecture that copies what has already been done. The city presents the image of a liberal but is still very conservative in its thinking; not in a political sense, but in terms of risk.

Although we up there when it comes to food.

Plus no tax incentives, it's the same reason why all the game devs are in Austin.

Stuff is always going down in NY, LA, and Chicago. But movies never take place in Houston it seems, and it's the 4th largest city in the U.S...ATL, Philly, D.C., Miami all get way more love too. What's up??
