:scust:I hate storytellers.
:camby:

No storytelling. I claim free passes to every movie I have interest in seeing.

Sometimes it's just easier to pay for it then go through all the hassle.

Dude on a movie podcast called the people who line up all day "pa$$holes" :heh:

i'm all for the clowning but lemme ask y'all.. would YOU wanna go wait in line after work on a monday for an hour and a half to 2 hours? that is if you were able to get tickets when you had to go to the theater with your pass before the tickets sell out :francis:

Probably not, but if it's such a terrible hassle why do you get them in the first place? And more importantly, why are you on here bragging about all them free screenings as if you're feasting? :dwillhuh:

You be like "Yeah, I got seven free screenings next week biiiiitches!" :blessed: only to go "They were all scheduled on the same day so I could only see one, and I actually missed that one too because my girl's water broke." :beli:

i hold out hope my girl will go get the tickets for me while im at work :mjcry:
My girl gets off an hour before me, I always send her ahead to stand in line to get the actual tickets at the theater.

But because it's such a hassle I don't do it that often. We'll make the effort if someone good is going to be there, or we think theyre might be good freebies. Something geeky or crazy hyped college kids line up hours in advance and I don't have the time. But a lot of the time it's not crazy.

Entourage screening they gave us free popcorn/drink a free fandango pass to another movie, and a cool ass water bottle, had a dj playing before the screening and had model chicks hosting and greeting folks.

Pitch Perfect 2, they had an accapella group perform in the theater before the move. not the cast tho :-/

Most black movies some of the cast actually shows up tho. Met kevin Hart, Tyreese, Nia long etc at various screenings. Plus black people don't do the 2 hour lineup sh!t. You could come 20 - 30 mins before a screening/premier of a black flick and be fine a lot of the time.

Just got a text about a free screening to go see The Revenant and Inarritu is going to be at the theater doing a signing so I can get my Birdman: Or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) poster signed! :gladbron::gladbron:

*a week later*

:francis:

the super volcano at yellowstone national park erupted the other day and my car is trapped under 20 feet of soot and ash, looks like I'm yet again going to have to miss a free screening :sadbron: can't I ever catch a goddamn break?

oh well, life goes on I guess :mjcry:

Most swag I ever got was a desolation of smug poster :francis:

@TheGodling it's not hard to succeed . Only time I struck out when I actually went to the theater was when they did a Q and A with the cast and director of me and earl and the dying girl. Small indie theater and they gave press all the seats.

The hard part is going to the theater to get your actual ticket with the free pass. You gotta either work by the theater or be unemployed or know someone who does/is
