But most people watched the spider man cartoon and blade made his appearance on there before the movie even came out
I found out about Blade first from trading cards, then the cartoon. So I was well aware it was a comic book movie but it didn't feel like it, at all. shyt set the tone for the MCU without even being cannon.
Batman and Robin and & Steel came out before this...
