Yeah, I left my faith behind in my teen years and never found it as an adult. I’m not religious but I don’t mind the community aspect of it (or the music). I just keep that shyt to myself, being an atheist while black is asking for it.

And only then because I was home to the church I grew up in. I wouldn't go out of my way to attend any church regularly except this one

My reasons have nothing to do with faith in Jesus. Its more about history and culture. And dope music.

But

The history and culture of the Black Church is the most influential thing on this Earth. If you extend it all the way out to Soul music and modern Urban music it has the most disciples worldwide.

So I think the Black Church itself is worth reverence. Just pay at the door and leave it at that. I throw them $5 each week. They deserve that much.

the concept of church is not the issue...its the losers from the surrounding communities that infiltrated and ruined the church bc of their selfish agendas...all the homos and greedy money hungry showing off for other black folk judgmental nggas ruined the church...I still go sometimes and just avoid those types...focus on your owm relationship with God and dnt let the other losers in the church affect you
