Why are Xbox stans now ok with paying $100 for a game?

pretty terrible thread seeing as though everyone else is playing for free
if people want to pay for early access thats on them
thats not even including you can just buy the early access for 49.99 because the base game is free

having something for free is not the same as something being overpriced forever
i've played multiple horizons for free
let alone this is good for the company, they get extra bread from desperate people a few days in advance. Everyone wins

No you could have played earlier by purchasing the the expansion and dlc.

Or you can buy the game and wait until release and not worry about the dlc


Or you can play it via gamepass on release


On top of that you can play it on PC, or Xbox, or stream it via cloud.



Crazy how many options you have to play the game right.

I'm damn near paying $100 for the collector's edition of GT7. If Microsoft made it physical for this, I would have bought it too. I know it's going to be discounted and I'll get it then. The collector's edition of GT7 won't be around forever.

Probably end up getting Forza eventually but racing games and FPS (Halo) games aren't what I'd buy a system for.

It must be tiresome to follow a group of gamers and a gaming platform you have zero interest in. Why do it?

I mean I don't care about kids playing Leap Frog games. Couldn't tell you the first thing about either.

I don't care about mobile games on cell phones. Couldn't really tell you about what people play there either.

If I ask you about Xbox you could probably tell me more about the platform than I could and I own one. You could probably tell more than the average Xbox owner knows.
