And that’s exactly the problem. Letting media dictate ur life and having low self esteem.

If I went off media perceptions, I would probably be depressed 24/7. But I dont base my reality off celebrities I dont even know. Thats insane.

Honestly, I've noticed that girls are more hypersensitive to things men might consider petty because we are taught to place a higher value on superficial things.

But this is largely because women are valued and judged on a superficial criteria more then men.

What does it really matter if you're a handsome man, outside of it being a bit easier to get p*ssy. But women regularly upgrade their lives, the lives of their families, and future generations to come, all because some rich billionaire thinks they're pretty.

But when women are rich, they still want to get with a rich man.

To sum it up, this effects women more than men because the beauty of a woman has a heavier impact on her life then the beauty of a man. When it comes to looks, being cute is just a plus for men. But being cute is a damn requirement for women.

So if a women feels like she isn't pretty enough to obtain rich men, it's kinda like the media telling a man he's too dumb to ever make more then 100k.

Now you already know we could go on a whole different tangent about the broken home situation in the black community.

But like I said before, kids in America look up to tv more then they do their parents. Your parents can only be one example, when media provides infinite outlooks on society.

I grew up in a two parent household. I consider my father to be a high caliber black man. But my parents also got married at the tail end of the black power movement, where blackness was highly celebrated. As a child, I assumed that black men in the generations after my father were off that wave, because my media consumption did not reflect what I saw at home.
I'm not sure how old you are, but I'm 32 and I never let t.v. influence my dating preference, since people I didn't like displayed behavior I saw on t.v. Just me though.

This is one stereotype that I do not understand. Are black women easy or are they not? Half the time I hear that black women are easy. The other time I hear that they are not and that they are difficult and prudish. It’s confusing.
Black women are not easy at all. I don't know anyone who has ever said that. (Sounds like some t.v. shyt.) Literally the only reason dudes fukk white girls is because they are easy.

Overall, I think women care more about what people think about them then men do, because of the reasons I outlined in my previous post.

Facts.....and you know what.....let's not even chalk it up to "he's biracial".....J Cole or Colin Kap would never get these type of passes...if I recall when it was revealed J Cole married, the LSA types were scrambling around to figure out what race she was. They clearly cared despite the fact he's mixed. There's something specific about drizzy that leads BW to give him that *exclusive* lane....its more than simply being mixed......I'm just looking for clear and concise explanation from BW though :mjpls:
Don't forget about the heat that Jesse Williams got for dating Minka Kelly.

I always find threads like this ironic given the anger, hatred, and downright stupidity displayed here from black men any time there's a thread about a black woman dating a white dude. Newsflash: date who the fukk you want. Jordan dating a white woman is not an indictment of black women. A black woman dating a white man is not an indictment of black men. Unless that person expresses ugly views on their own race ("black men/women are lazy and I don't date them") who fukking cares.
It's low-key hilarious. That cognitive dissonance is real.

:picard: This the type of research we doing now?:

Black people(really BW) really need to stop giving OKcupid dumbass stats time of day.

If ur letting their stats be ur reality u lost

They also had a stat showing AM got better replies to BW than BM

And we all know something like that ain't true.

But miserable bytches will be miserable

These bytches r embarrassing themselves.

Plus OKcupid is a Haven for whitewashed people. U lost looking for a black person on OkCupid

I'm not gonna go down this rabbit hole with y'all. But you know it's a lot of easy black p*ssy too.

Why do optics seem like black celebrities will step over easy black p*ssy for easy white p*ssy?

The fact of the matter is that some black people put a premium on white skin. "Beautiful black women, but I bet that bytch look better red." and all that jazz.

No offense but I have multiple stories of bw being EXTREMELY easy when it comes to white dudes, but being EXTREMELY difficult when it comes to black dudes

Theres one story I could tell that shocked even me
