I'm all for some good ol' Cena bashing as he is a stale character looking at him as an adult, yet since he ain't aimed at most of the people in our age demo it's easy to see WHY kids love him. His Make a Wish efforts are as commendable as it gets and in no way should that be TSC trolling/bashing fodder. Cats can't separate the characters from the people at times

How is this an actual question? Some of you guys forget your childhood when Hogan was a God to us.

Go to a WWE Live event and you`ll see why he is the one requested.

How is YOUR question an actual question? You really think this is a serious thread?

As corny as we think Cena is to them kids he is the ultimate role model. We had hogan who was basically an underlying snake in and out of the ring. Cena is the guy kids are supposed to cheer. Like ive said before, he's not for me but i hope to God there is role models like John Cena when I have kids. Corny or not. :manny:

Let's look at this tho. :leostare:

Cena teaches kids to fight. Any/every public school these days teaches kids that if someone hits you, under NO circumstances do you hit them back, you go find a teacher and tell them.

So how exactly is Cena the ultimate role model. Teachers in schools would probably tell u otherwise.

Keep in mind this is all in the realm of wrestling since this is a wrestling forum.

If my son is watching wrestling hell yeah id want Cena to be that guy he looks up to. In reality no wrestler should be that guy because everyone fights in wrestling, its their job. But as far as wrestlers go, you could do alot worse and my kid would know what to do and not do. That part is my job as a parent.

it's the Make A Wish Foundation breh fall back

:comeon:

I mean up in the TSC we all talk greasy bout every wrestler (that we do not like)

but Cena's character is that guy that represents never giving up on life's obstacles, misfortunes, and mishaps.

on some trill shyt, I would never knock a dude for going out of their way to spend time with a sick & die'ing child if their wish was to meet their favorite wrestler.

and I'm not trying to be on some over-sentimental shyt because I talk a lot of shyt myself but really. I even fukked around in a TNA PPV thread saying #MakeAWish Gail Kim Let Me Smash That Ninja p*ssy on some trying to be funny shyt.

but however, this shyt should be off limits to trash up brehs

let these kids unfortunately die happy
Thats my Singh :to:

you broke kayfabe and all but yo, im an adult and even I would want to meet Cena of all the current superstars.

Homie probably has alot of stories about having to hold back from kicking so many fans asses.

you niccas wont get any cool stories like this from Kofi Kingston:scusthov:

Jack swagger, 5 days ago...you can tell he really liked it

DENVER – Jack Swagger hit a milestone not every Superstar is fortunate enough to achieve in his career with WWE. The All-American American granted his first individual wish with Make-A-Wish to Brandi RedCloud-Owen when he met her for lunch at Hard Rock Café before Raw SuperShow at the Pepsi Center. (PHOTOS)

“Being able to be a part of a Make-A-Wish for Brandi was something that really hit home for me,” Swagger told WWE.com. “I know it made her day to have lunch with a WWE Superstar.

“At the same time, it made my day to be a part of something magical and realize that just the littlest things can make the biggest difference in people’s lives.”

The former World Heavyweight Champion admitted he was a bit surprised he was chosen by the 14-year-old New Yorker, but he was flattered.

“I know right now there are not a lot of Jack Swagger fans, so I was like, ‘Come on, stop. You’re making me blush.’ And she was like, ‘No, I chose you.’ That was pretty cool, I’ve got to say.”

He compared this milestone to other notable moments in his career, from getting an acceptance letter to play college football at Oklahoma University, to seeing his first action figure with his likeness, to winning the World Heavyweight Title, to his competing in his first WrestleMania.

“My first Make-A-Wish – you know, she chose me and she wanted to meet with me, out of anybody on the roster – I think that’s awesome. It just screams how good her tastes are,” he smugly said, in true Swagger style.

While The All-American American is never short on courage when he gets in the ring, he admitted he was a little nervous for his first Make-A-Wish meet-and-greet. So, he took a page from Brandi’s positive outlook on life.

“She’s half my age, but she has so much courage,” he said. “I think that really is the main thing to take away from this. That courage shines through. Her look at life isn’t any different. She looks up to me, but in a way, I look up to her.”

Swagger is a competitive Superstar, so while Brandi was his first wish granted, he’s hoping it won’t be his last as he wants to break John Cena’s record of granting 300 wishes. Until then, he’ll take away fond memories from the time he spent with the teen and her family.

“Make-A-Wish is something that really transcends across any culture. It’s so powerful. I’m just honored and humbled to be a part of it because like I said, it’s just the littlest things that make the biggest difference.”
