Why are there so many white homeless people at the gas station on harper and cadieux?

I always used to see them standing by the ramp when you come up off 94 but I just started seeing them hang around the gas station

And it's white ppl in the area but they usually thenupper crust types

In 2023, the estimated homeless population in the United States was broken down by race as follows:

• White Americans: Approximately 324,854 individuals.
• Black Americans: Around 243,624 individuals.
• Hispanic Americans: Roughly 119,234 individuals.
• Asian Americans: About 16,000 individuals.
• Native Americans: Estimated at 29,000 individuals.

This is inaccurate and irrelevant to @Formerly Black Trash 's thread about a corner in Detroit.

Detroit is a black city with an almost 80 percent black population. The American homeless population is also disproportionately black , with this disparity being much much much stronger in the Detroit homeless population
