Ant man was corny to me. I'm not gonna front guardians of the galaxy was entertaining and WAY better than I thought it would be. Definitely one of the 5 To 10 good ones. I would never watch it again though
I haven't seen winters soldier but I will take your word for it and give it a try this week sometime

Fair enough but again..... the comic movies we are getting are clearly way better than 80-90% of the other films that drop.
ID2 sucking doesnt make BvS better but its still something to look at when the so called worst comic book movie is sooooooooooo far better than the average non comic book film.

If you watch the extended version of BvS you'll realise it's classic piff, but the higher ups at WB chopped and screwed that shyt. I haven't watched Suicide Squad yet but i'm sure they did it to that as well, based on the current energy surrounding the release

Iike I'm pretty confident in Snyders world there would be a scene in WW's youth were she was getting gang raped as a teen by grown men and Hera or other Amazonians would come in mid rape and kill all the men and then bring her to their land to teach her to become a warrior and she goes through an arc where she completely despises men until Superman finally meets her and makes her bow down to his power or some shyt

I can pinpoint Guardians of the Galaxy as the moment I stopped truly kiddishly joyfully enjoying superhero movies. Really really hated it, so to see it be so praised messed me up

Disagree with this completely. Pop culture took over nerd culture. There isn't really a nerd culture any more, all that shyt is mainstream now and there isn't anything to be "a part of".
Once "LOTR" did close to $1 billion it was a wrap. Then shyt like "The Dark Knight" getting serious critical acclaim....then the MCU basically steamrolling everything else out, to the point that a Z-tier team like "Guardians Of The Galaxy" can gross $700 mill....it's over. Everyone goes and sees these movies now.
And that's just movies. All the shyt that was nerdy as fukk 20 years ago is cool now. Imagine reading some shyt like "Game Of Thrones" in high school, vs the whole world watching the show now.
