This thread is such an embarrassment.

:mjlol::snoop:

Black people aren't wearing these t-shirts cos they wanna be white or some other bullshyt, it's purely because these type of tees on trend.

Some might actually like the band on the t-shirt they're wearing, but on the whole, most are wearing them because it's fashionable.

Why are those considered hood movies, they have million dollar budgets. A good movie would be like killa season
nikka don't be dense. Does the hood consider these movies classic? Killa season is just a hood movie. ain't nobody mentioning that shyt in the same breath as boyz in the hood or even menace 2 society.

One in a Million (Guns N' Roses song) - Wikipedia

Police and ******s, that's right
Get outta my way
Don't need to buy none of your
Gold chains today

In a '89 Rolling Stone interview, Rose explained the lyrics "I used words like police and ******s because you're not allowed to use the word ******. Why can black people go up to each other and say, "******," but when a white guy does it all of a sudden it's a big put-down. I don't like boundaries of any kind. I don't like being told what I can and what I can't say. I used the word ****** because it's a word to describe somebody that is basically a pain in your life, a problem. The word ****** doesn't necessarily mean black. Doesn't John Lennon have a song "Woman Is the ****** of the World"? There's a rap group, N.W.A., ******s with Attitude. I mean, they're proud of that word. More power to them. Guns N' Roses ain't bad. . . . N.W.A. is baad!

Before the release of Lies, the other members of the band tried in vain to make Rose drop the track from the record.[5] Fellow GN'R member, Slash, whose mother is black, noted that he did not condone the song but did not condemn his bandmate, commenting in a 1991 interview with Rolling Stone:"When Axl first came up with the song and really wanted to do it, I said I didn't think it was very cool... I don't regret doing 'One in a Million', I just regret what we've been through because of it and the way people have perceived our personal feelings."

I watched a documentary called Electric Purgatory a few years back where Vernon Reid from Living Colour said their label refused to put them on black radio:stopitslime: Rock is literally blues with distortion. Going Down Slow by Howlin Wolf sounds no different than some of the 90s grunge and nu metal. I know this is a troll thread but people don't realize how labels socially conditioned black folks into boxing themselves into certain genres.

facts.......all true but I do find it:childplease::gucci::comeon:when people do what the op is speaking about

I like black and white rock music. I don't care.

Why do we as black men always gotta fit a certain mold? Why can't I like certain things and still be pro black?

If I see a dope Isley Bro T or a dope Stevie T or a dope Led Zep or whatever I'm go rock it if I like the graphic or music/album.
