As a person who makes money from social media, you don't need to be monetized to make money on YT. You just need views which most people don't get because they never take time to study the process and/or try to copy other creators.
If you are just leaning on adsense you probably don't know what you're doing. Most social media should act as a funnel.
I have one platform I have not touched in over a year and still brings me about $300 a month and it's never been monetized.
I have been doing some studying and really see how to become successful; a long with my experience. I'll be relaunching soon.
