Pretty much...Or they weren't really feeling it and was afraid that the public weren't going to like it either...

Co-sign on the bolded...Michael Jackson is a good example on this...I always felt THIS sing should have been on Bad...but Quincy Jones had to hate and made Mike take it off...

Michael Jackson - Street Walker - YouTube

Qunicy Jones also hated Billie Jean too..and was REALLY close to kicking it off Thriller.....:wtf:....Mike's career would have been a TAD bit different if that would have happened..

Yep, also like Maxwells "Urban Hang Suite" album....it was shelved for over a year b/c Sony thought it wouldnt sell. :snoop:

Audio Meth on Teflon Don.

I still think Teflon Don is a classic but that track is pure fire and should have been on the album proper, but like other people have mentioned sometimes the track don't fit the vibe.

Now the Deeper Than Rap Lost Intro though......that should have been included

if you look at the album and read the title and know what Summer On Smash is about i think it does fit. if SoS wasn't on Life Is Good i wouldn't think his Life was Good at all because it wouldn't seem like he's havin a great time which is what i think SoS implied that Nas is out here havin a great time as a newly single guy who just got out of a divorce. if he's on a cd called Life Is Good just makin a bunch of tracks about his life which wasn't good then the title wouldn't make sense.

I feel u but Black Bond is a very life is good vibe track 2. The niga in an elegant Moroccan apartment son
