I see no problem in this... White america's school system as is has failed black children and are white wahsing black history itself so fukk em. do your part to educate your kids... most of the shyt you learn in public school you wont use in the real world anyways...:beli:

I’m not so sure it’s a Black father/husband leading that particular household…

How do you make it work on one income, if one of the parents is staying home to teach?
Make more money so you can afford to have a stay at home wife :manny:, or one of you works evening/nights/weekends (like a nurse working Fri-Sun or weekends only, etc). This is for folks who are intentional and serious about family planning.

I know my future children will be in private school and it will cost a grip. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Above the fray.
People with disposable income after bills are paid. Even with 2 incomes most black families are barely above water. Considering the fact that a black kid is most likely to be born in a single parent home, Homeschooling is out of the question. I'm not against homeschooling but we should be fighting to make the public schools a better place for the kids.
The show segment speaks about the option that this lady explored. I don't think it's an either/or issue, as there are options that are more practical to a wider range of families. Saturday School and other ways to supplement the public school instruction have been what our family has done informally.

But I must ask you, if many Black families don't have the means to homeschool, how do you think they have the resources to change public school systems in significant ways?
