Yea, man I want an EV too, but I don't own a home and my apartment doesn't have any charging stations. I be glad when range is up and the US charging infrastructure is better.

Tesla superchargers can charge your whip to 80% in like 30 minutes. There's non Tesla DC current chargers out there now too.

My commute daily made my investment great.

Having an EV is just as bad as having a beater when it comes to road trips. You gonna always have to get a rental

Anybody in Cali have an EV and use it to drive to Vegas? I doubt they have chargers in those red neck gas stations/rest stops on highways 5.

Tesla can get you from LA to Vegas on one charge. Someone driving from the Bay would need to stop, luckily there is a pretty strong network in cali

people will be fine with EV’s as long as they adjust expectations. Instead of coast to coast in four days, it might take 5. :manny:

They do. And your car will plan it out for you letting you know when to stop and how long to Supercharge.

below is using my car to go from LAX to the MGM. they have a couple of Superchargers between Vegas and LA. One in Victorville and one in Baker. I just have a base model 3.

That's a good job by Tesla to try to make it easy.

Where do you charge while in Vegas?

Or is the suggestion to charge up again before reaching the city?

pretty much all of the parking structures of the casinos have EV charging + random other charging stations. large cities outside the climiate denial south have charging infrastructure, not as big as gas stations, but the EV market aint no where near as big in the first palce

Don't pay these goofball politicians in the south any mind. Lots of in between charging stations (both Tesla Supercharger and Electric Company DC Chargers) between cities.

I may go with a Prius for my next car (had a Honda Civic and just switched to a new Toyota Camry). I definitely need my city to improve the EV infrastructure (there's a charger where I work, but I don't have a garage).
