I did not know who was going to win. Each side was stating their person would win, supporting their position with supposedly "valid" polls. Hindsight points towards Democratic polls being poorly conducted and biased like in 2016. What I did feel was that the Election would be determined by White Women and if they felt Abortion was a more important issue than the high cost of living. It seems the Democrats put all of their eggs in the Abortion is the most important issue basket when concerning White women, and found out on election day that a small majority of White women who voted did not feel the Abortion issue was their primary concern.

They also found out that a good percentage of people (18+ million) who voted 4 years ago, felt neither party was worth voting for and elected to stay on the couch. So the Democratic pundits were just wrong on so many views. Yet, now we are suppose to believe they are right when they lay the bulk of the blame for their losses on misogyny and racism
