Luv this thread Henny....I dnt think this gang shyt turning into a joke has really anything to do with cali bloods, except that now theyre openly letting clowns in, but they are extorting them... other than that cali's gang culture is ingrained in there everyday life style, this shyt aint nothing new for them...
The issue stems from the influence of the bloods in ny... which was the mecca of hip hop at 1 time..
bloods in ny were made in rikers... and not on the streets like gangs in cali...
alot of the brothers in jail came together to create that shyt... i guess to unite against other gangs... spanish mainly.
There wasn't a loc movement in rikers... just brothers banning together and forming blood... no affiliation with the actual street gang bloods tho.
so when these nikkaz start coming home, they are like heros on the street... they start expanding the red shyt, locking shyt down. very violent and respected by some.... for awhile there still wasnt a crip presence in ny... if it was, it was damn near silent... So once the ny blood culture started to seep into hip hop (which was going to happen eventually) shyt became even more popular... Dip Set was hot... wayne was already heating up... he jumped on their wave... claiming blood. and once he became the biggest rap artist of that time, he propelled the ny blood culture thru out hip hop... i knew this because all the slang he says and all the ppl who wanna be like him are saying ny blood slang...
Now the locs arent popular in ny, and will never be... locs dont give a fukk about popularity in ny... nikkaz was just out to get money and terrorize blood nikkaz who basically were running ny.
So basically it aint really about the locs not letting suckaz in... its really about the suckaz wanting to be down with the most popular team...and bloods have been the most popular squad for the reasons i mentioned.
Big shout to Gs9 nikka and All my haitian mafia nikkaz, kgc nikkaz... and of course tdgc

Vince staples basically said that Chris got put on when he was like 14 by the dudes he was learning to crump dancing with. I would think the whole country treating him like a hitler following the rihannah situation caused him to not give a damn about being inconspicuous.

Yeah it’s known in Cali that nortes and bloods have similar tendencies just like surenos and crips do. Basically bloods and nortes are fresh gangsters that are about their money and be fly with it. Crips and scraps be on that dusty shyt but really be about putting in work. Remember bloods don’t dominate in so cal it’s crip this insane that. Might be one or two blood hoods per 5 crip gangs. Bloods don’t really care about branding as much as crips as long as they the ones getting money. I’ve met some crips and scraps that be on some straight :demonic: devil worship shyt while you’ll be hard pressed to find a blood on that weirdo shyt.

This is the real issue at hand that no one in our communities talk about. The oppression of the blue ranger in popular culture and how his representation was made to seem less cool and popular. "Beta" if you will, thus decreasing the support and influence of the color blue. Its why it's cool and more honorable to be "Red Pill" than "Blue Pill." The white man knew what he was doing and how this would effect young black children in our communities with only one parent in the household who's only guidance was TV and pop culture and that it would influence us to grow up to be members of the notorious Bloods street gang.
