My mother's side is Protestant Christian so they dont really care about all that African shyt

Over 75% of the Africans that founded the country were born in Africa.

There was a 100-year ban on white men owning land/businesses on the island so the nation remained isolated from the outside world until 1915.

Also - it was the Fon people that brought Vodou to the "new world" - Its only the Christian Haitians that dont know their origins.
