I'm scared now
That was the FIRST person to throw a brick at a cop that started the stonewall riots which started the push for LGBT rights way back when. They just happened to be black. It wasnt a white person.
Because white men fear genetic annihilation. Homosexual black men generally don’t reproduce. They know how powerful image is, and the effects it has on the black community.
Because this is their way of trying to be inclusive of so-called marginalized groups. Black gay men and transgenders embody this the most out of the LGBTQ group.
You all also seem to be forgetting this is Pride month.
It just checks off more boxes, black trans and black gay men check off both minority and LGBTQ
its just the fastest way for companies to hit the diversity quota
plus LGBT is heavily underrepresented in Hollywood and social media. thats who the white execs talk to
thats why you see so many black + gay characters on TV
BUT WE NOT THOUGH. THE BIGGEST KNOWN GAYS ARE ALL WHITE.
Bruh its the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. The person in that artwork is Marsha P.Johnson one of the event's most prominent figures. Given the current times and all thats going on with the police, its very appropriate.

Marsha P. Johnson - Wikipedia
The vast majority of representation of black men in mainstream culture are straight black men. Athletes, rappers, singers, actors, political figures, etc. This is a fact that is not up for debate, and you know it's true. If the mere existence or acknowledgement of gay or trans black people offends you, that's on you.
