for a minimum of 10000 USD? and what if you cannot pay it?

do people just get their medical peeps to do the delivery at home?
My brother has A1 insurance and still paid 10K out of pocket for the birth of his last child because of complications.

He works at Target HQ in Minnesota for Christ sakes and has some of the best insurance you can have and it’s not enough

Sometimes I don't like how some Americans describe Canada's healthcare.

Yes it's much better but far from perfect.
it’s far from perfect to you but compared to America it’s elite.

I’ve lived in both countries, growing up people in the states would go into debt with medical bills ALL THE TIME.

ive never seen that here.

I had my son here and didn’t pay a dime and the birth was a C-section. Not once did we receive a bill for the birth or any of the prenatal care.

even with A1 insurance in the states your gonna come out of pocket.

Also paid maternity leave for a year here by law. That doesn’t exist at all in the states at a fed level and depends on a persons job.

If you get diagnosed with cancer in America, but don't have insurance what happens? :lupe:

The only things I hate about healthcare in Canada is not being able to choose your doctor and the wait times for procedures.
