Somehow? China would hurt use economically before military. I just hope you are not one of those folks that think China can't have any negative impacts on us.
Their negative impact would be bad to the US, but the US's negative impact would be catastrophic to China considering most of the rest of the world is already against them...

You should watch the whole thing since the constant China-rhetoric posted here lately hasn't gotten much pushback and leads some people to believe that China will somehow become a 'threat'.
China is about to reach $25,000 gdp per capita by 2035. Explain how going from current African level poverty to reaching first world living standards isn’t impressive within only 50 years

Our impact is what matters. We currently live in a country that doesn't have the infrastructure to bring back manufacturing. Also, companies are not interested because of the cost-effectiveness of it. Covid alone showed China's impact to on this country and it amazes me people have forgotten that quickly.

Watch the video. GDP isn't an accurate representation and no one said China's growth wasn't impressive. It just won't be enough......ever.

Isn't china just giving loans they know countries will default on so they can increase their influence and control infrastructure assets?

Do you really think they have acrual intentions of helping whole countries? That would require donations and aid packages not loans right?

Source?

Their 'help' is dependent on how the countries they give aid to vote regarding Taiwan.....

NOTE: The Entebbe Airport isn't in danger. They renegotiated the loan.

They give out loans that are fairer than the loans given by the world bank, IMF, European and US private equity.

They often forgive debt and rework loan agreements because actually want those countries to improve, because they need to supplement their domestic economic with more money from foreign economies.

Poor people can’t buy the middle-high income consumer goods that China is transitioning into producing.

The idea that China is debt trapping countries is CIA propaganda, there is zero proof of that.

The West needs the developing world to stay broke so they can continue to exploit them for cheap labor and resources.

China needs the developing world to become richer, because the current rich nations are hating on them and they need a new customer base to sell middle income goods like cellphones and cars to.

Also they don’t want there to be any place with cheaper capable labor than them, so they can keep a manufacturing advantage over their Western competitors.

The only thing that matters.

Dedollarization and the end of the petrodollar.

All I have for brehs is make sure you have your passports. You want that option. People in the U.S. are under the delusion that the U.S. won't fall. They are sadly mistaken. Once people realize the propaganda they have eaten over the years is false, they will be angry. Then it might be time to get you and your family out of the way.
