Right now, Carti and Ian are really responsible for a lot of these looks.

ASAP Bari and Rocky started really bringing the distressed denim/balmain look through really big in NYC first.

'Ye and Migos has played big part into this look too.

I honestly think a lot of it 90's grunge and skate influenced if anything.
Lots of acid wash and distressed vintage band shirts and ripped denim.
Not saying that this is the best or flyest era of all time or anything from a fashion perspective.
Just a young head letting you know what the current wave is.
