nikkaz knew AZ for the cut cause AZ did his shows.
Nas did not get popular at all in a pop mainstream context at all during 94-95.

stop it:mjlol:

Whereas AZ got popular because of the cultural sentimentality of miss Jones being passed over for don't take it personal for the much larger commercial permeating mca label artist mjb.
So, the windfall and trickle down for sugar hill gave positive reception for AZ and how he got a sentiment based pass for the rnb hook on sugar hill.
As rnb based hooks were culturally taboo at the time.
Whereas alternatively nas suffered setbacks using rnb hooks on the remix to one love.
which was the jiggy precursor to iww, and taboo because of the inclusion of the oversaturated lead single with Lauren and nas did not receive sentiment culturally like AZ as windfall.
Plus culturally, he never made any headway as a fashion guy with lo life around around at all.
Nor, would he make any headway with Leo burnett's reg know at the helm.
to mass market hiphop culturally leading to the worldwide popular implosion of hiphop culture to mainstream masses.
Nas never rocked not one Olympic lo joint, no Indian heads, no nasa coats, no nautica sleeve logo coat, no snow beach, etc.
He was never a fashion guy for people in the culture.
He was a regular timb Hoodie stock baggy jean guy with no diversity of brands.
He was a regular hand style bboy with fashion he was never iconic.
if he swayed you as a pop fan.
You don't know hiphop culture like that and are a mtv nas darling fan era of jiggy nas. Simple as that,....
Nas was never a fashion guy in a cultural context like that.

I know you nikkaz not no bboys in this thread with this nas bullshyt,..y'all some jealous stans.

How is nas going to get props over lo life, culturally...?
Somebody please be stoopid enough to try, and answer.

This gif describes your narcissistic man crush for nas, and all the posting you be doing on it trying to make it real.

If nas was so poppin.
Why is he not credited with the pac bandanna and he rocked it first.
Why is that not and was never credited as his trade mark.
If nas was so poppin,.....
why he rock and need puff jiggy suit.
Then continue to sellout with the greasy face explosion fake sweat video.
Why was he selling out even further looking to rock pink suits, predating that.
trying to get an image from good fellas and it never popped off and cam is credited for pink?
With a way more outlandish iconic fit phone and mink hat to match.

Lemme answer it for you,...
It is because nas being this guy looked to for fashion by general nikkaz to hiphop is a figment of your stan based and fueled imagination.

All that shyt is rehashes of ol shyt from the nineties.
We had epaulettes on the cuff of our pants back then, breh.
We had vintage military back then breh.
We had all these periods and fascinations with all this shyt, from all the Italian as well.

Just the fact a hoodie is your main apparel choice by standard for a Gen says you are living in 1991 off top.
So wtf are you saying.

If kanye's bear is new to you and you were a noob fan and did not know it was in homage to the lo bear.
Then you are late.

None of this shyt is new.

You new nikkaz just have not proverbially dug in the crate to know your history.

Then got the nerve to ever critique anyone and you are the ones late.

You can't tell someone who actually was there about their culture and you are late.

We already had our we not ras and rock dreads period in this culture.
Which is why I posted the 93 till vid and was hoping.
i would not have to mass rant about that and about opio
Including, a plus and never no more and dreads already being in style and phased out. From the feverish retro homage to that period guys now try to do mixed with the mid 96 rap to rave appropiation of hiphop fusion era.

That the same non-culture based pop nikkaz, lost from the change of disco to ol to new school way of thought.
who used to know nuffin about rap or hip hop at the time.

Especially fashion and girbauds to this man:

p10348qa291.jpg

Were the same evolution of late gangstas.
who lol at girbauds we rocked in 90.
Till they jump on the bandwagon of girbauds in a late and lame mainstream run that lasted till the straps joints were phased out.
imma be real to tell you nikkaz who late.
You don't know hip hop like that.
You can't front fake hide pose,....but you will expose yourself.

You don't know this shyt like that.

Now,...real talk...
Sit back and read my notes.
This shyt ain't changed and y'all living 1993 in fashion over and over on loop.

We are the original Gen.

Y'all are late.

We made all this shyt, period.

That's cool. I get y'all were fly. Much respect for the breakdown.
Styles switch up and evolve over the time.

Right now, Carti and Ian are really responsible for a lot of these looks.

I honestly think a lot of it 90's grunge and skate influenced if anything. :yeshrug:
Lots of acid wash and distressed vintage band shirts and ripped denim.
Not saying that this is the best or flyest era of all time or anything from a fashion perspective.
Just a young head letting you know what the current wave is.

Not really impressed and their shyt is dated just off tight clothes alone.
As this is rave trip hop misappropriated from bboy and bgirl hiphop styling from 96.
Where you could differentiate between a bboy and a poser duck by clothes sizes.

Plus, real talk...
Showing me pics of nikkaz who really biters and don't keep it all the way to the true school.
I look at as playing dress up.

It has gotten to the point,...
they are ruining the ability to see american domestic sizes in any capacity of shopping.
Where, we are getting pedo asian snuff film human boy trafficking cloths sizes masquerading as adult men's clothing sizes.
These nikkaz enable dhgate wack clothes suppliers to get off, adm those suppliers should be made to tske a loss till they are out the gsme for trying tonsell us gay model sample sizes on full run clothes.
those manufacturers and cheap day labor camp suppliers.
should be stuck with those send off offbrand miss sized clothes, too.

All I see is some nikka misappropiating hiphop new school way of thought culture.
to fit into gay disco clubs and raves.

Which was corrosive and a danger twenty one years ago...
Now, rap is wack copy cats of goldie and tricky on the mic.
That even mos def failed being tricky, probably listening to sellout soul Aquarian suggestions.
Coupled with the current emo triphop marketing firm behind the pr of this bullshyt.

Art Barr

Oh and yes, I do dress better than all these nikkaz and am known in the underground as that nikka.
Plus, it is real live coli members.
who can tell you I would son these nikkaz with apparel

With no record deal, too.

I think part of that look is big is the "irony" factor.
Hip-hop is used to nikkas being SUPER crispy with the fades and 1/2 moons, crisp Polo fits and creased denim.
Now the whole idea is look like you don't give a fukk.
Colored dreads, ripped clothing, dad hats. Its lame if you look like you're "trying" too hard these days. IE how Fab dresses now. Lol.

They say fab is a lo life but I don't feel his gear either, tho.
He got good ideas but it is not dope to me.
For him to be a lo life allegedly he really don't have pop gear wise to me.
Well I seen or been around the flyest.
so he would not impress me like that to begin with.
