Goddamn Busta Rhymes should’ve went solo much earlier

Never heard of them. This was apparently mixed by Guru:leon:
Pretty sure One Step Beyond is the guy behind the camera asking the question that’s why so many people said his name.

Aka Amiri Baraka Jr. (one of the chicks said his name) who currently works for his brother Ras Baraka the mayor of Newark

And :russ: at the cameraman skipping over that white man on purpose.

Guess that energy is missing from all black institutions today: Where you were a guest and you had to be ON YOUR TOES.

I heard from back in 87-94, HU was a place where if you were caught playing any white Hip Hop artists (Vanilla Ice, Color me Badd, Young Black Teenagers), you got one warning. If you were caught again, you were ran outta the institution as a whole. Being black in the Public enemy/ X-Clan era, a lot of culture appropriation did not fly at all. That mentality of "I gotta sell drugs to feed myself/moms/kids" was :camby: because you were saw as a selfish person that sold out their community and destroying other families for a quick profit, which was blasphemous.

That community mentality was in full effect back then at HU, and that video shows.
