Raven made the ish uncomfortable to watch at times, it was masterful at times. Good ass call

Breh before WCW ruined him, he has this faint supervillain aura around him. From the amazing backstory with Dreamer, to using Richards as his lackey, to Beulah the love of his life and abusing her because he cant deal with emotion, to Sandman reminding him of his drunken abusive father, to Terry Funk trying to get a rise out of him, to wanting Richards to kill him because he lost everything it may be one of the GOAT story archs. You hated his guts but still felt sorry for the guy somehow.

Literally start with just raw in August of 97 and watch every raw and Ppv up until wrestlemania 14.

97 Raws are probably the best all-around year. I would watch the whole thing, there isn't really a bad Main-Event heel. Sid gets a bunch of shyt, but dude had a presence and was getting some promos. Bret became the top-heel after and he really improved on his promos. At times, he would rant, but it worked because he always got mega-heat. As for Shawn, he turns heel in August and his goal is to just piss everybody off (especially Bret, who was still heel) D-X with Rude, Chyna and Midcard Haitch is the best-incarnation. They had the immature shyt, but at that time it served a purpose because Shawn had storyline reasons to be a dikk, and he was pissing fans off because he thought they always expected him to do the right thing. Also, when it was time to sell a match, he knew how to stop all that shyt and make people really want to see his ass get kicked.

Him, Bret and Austin are really the GOATs of this shyt.
