everything I did wrong...worked.
My fave book changes all the time but F.Scott Fitzgerald is my guy,no one can write like him. His work is complex and beautifully simple though his rich boy themes can get boring.
Other mentions include Anton Chekov, James Baldwin, John Updike,Dostoyevsky, and Bulgakov whose 'Master and Margarita' was perfectly dark and interesting.
