I'll just say too that while Jokic had a rough fall early on, he didn't show any visible discomfort or laboring to his elbow or wrist throughout the game yet ESPN/ABC kept running with the narrative that he was playing amputated to excuse his missed freethrows and passiveness.

Like nah, don't do that. Thunder played good defense and Jokic didn't have his best night despite good production, full stop. No need to cape

OKC is kinda like Boston

in that when the 3 isn’t falling it can look rough offensively but (1) their defense can carry them and (2) the switch can suddenly flip and they become unconscious from 3

brehs can throw dort on your best perimeter player and then throw caruso when he gets tired
crazy

AG getting hurt again, jokic’s elbow (however big of a deal you want to make it to support your narrative) and the whistle was too much to overcome.

:russ: You sound just like the Nugget fans/Jokic stans on Reddit.

The possibility of Jokic not winning MVP got y’all irrational
I think you'll find every single fanbase has a problem with the favorable whistle that OKC gets. Every single online game thread are of cats complaining about the officiating whenever their team plays OKC. And I'd imagine that Nuggets/Jokic stans couldn't really give a fukk about him winning MVP or not (he already has three of them), and really their only concern is how this mess of a roster is going to compete for a title.
