I would say Method Man. He has the GOAT rapping voice,delivery,flow and pretty good lyrics.

This is arguably the possible best choice but meth never came better than red as a duo on any record and was showing signs of regression till exactly 2oo6, when out of nowhere he regained a step in a regressive time and dropped the album of the year somewhere in that time as well.

So, I can't say meth cause for eleven solid years we can say meth was not great when compared with his contemporary.
Plus he never outshined his contemporary who was further from the essence in jers.
When consistently around said contemporary to up skill and also demonstrate issues in consistent sonic landscape changes.
That contemporary, meth never outshined was the first rapper the Threadstarter picked in this discussion.

K solo for his time was a monster. i wanted so bad for him and red to hook up for an album but it never happened. at least out side of a crew songs.

especially since back then we thought they might be brothers/cousins or some sort of related lol.
