Who's More Iconic: Kratos or Master Chief?

master Cheif is really the only thing xbox can claim as a mascot
kratos survives in a sea of iconic IP, and i sitll think his design is recognizable even from a minimalist perspective. You wear a light grey t shirt with a red stripe on it and people will think of kratos. theres nothing really interseting design wwise with Master chief
Even Sant Monica Studios logo screams kratos
another funny thing thats happened is me getting doomguy and masterchief confused now that microsoft has been promoting the both them.

Cortana's actually more prominent that Master Chief, currently. Even if the greater majority don't realize where the name comes from when they see it.

I’m tempted to say MC bcuz he’s appeared in other “crossover” games, more product placement/advertisement etc…but the GOW franchise has been around longer in gaming no? so that counts for a lot as well as far as the question goes…it’s not a clear cut choice

Master chief ushered in these shooters and competitive online multi-player and will be the only franchise besides Nintendo iPs to hit 100 million sold.

my moms could at least recognize master chief is from "that video game"
kratos is obviously popular but the character splits the recognizability with other sony mascots, had mass effect stayed as an xbox exclusive then it would be between shepard and master chief but the way things played out master chief has that pop culture appeal because its by far the strongest thing out that camp
