Starting Vando was something I said needed to happen. I guess he’s back to his self and the heel bursitis is fully healed.

This lineup puts more scoring pressure on LeBron and AD though, which I think is a good thing. Bron getting off to these slow ass passive starts is annoying as fukk.

The proposed lineup is

1. Bron
2. Reddish
3. TP
4. Vando
5. AD

Aside from AD, this is a clear defensive lineup (and I LOVE IT). LeBron is the only other consistent scoring option here, as Prince is streaky.

I’ve been advocating for a Cam/Vando lineup for forever, and I’m aware they are challenged offensively but I believe the defense will be so overwhelming that the spurts we get from LeBron will put us over the top. It’s how the Bulls operated in 2011– overwhelm you with defense to the point a streaky shooter like D. Rose was enough to reach 60 wins.

I believe in LeBron more than most. I expect him to be great. I get called a Bron stan specifically because I hold him to these standards. Bron currently is better than 11 Rose. And we have Davis— this lineup might be what changes the season.

And if it doesn’t, what did we have to lose anyway?
