To be honest I don't know anything about mixing but this is what I do.

Spoiler: My process

I have my FL sessions super organized.

I made a template with my best sounding drums gave them a general basic EQ. I make them mono and cut out frequencies. Like for a kick, snares, hi-hats, and toms anything under like 30-35hz is usually not needed and can cause muddiness. I'm not familiar with reverb I just apply a tiny amount to my tom and snares. I also pan my drums I usually do this by ear but you can use this as a starting place.

I apply something to my Master to increase the volume. I use to use Waves and Izotope but now I use a VSTi called made Elephant by Voxengo.

​

The most important thing I have ever learned was to make something louder you have to turn it down. I turn FL master volume down to like 2-5% and try to level out my sounds then I apply the Elephant to my master and put it at 100% volume. I may have to slightly adjust after that but usually its good.

Mixing Is my weakness.... been making beats for four years and I still can't mix
