Tony Khan is such a fukkin nerd, him congratulating himself for winning booker of the year for the fukking wrestling observer was so lame. :russ:

He's not in touch with the wrestling fan base at all or he wouldn't have made this huge announcement like Christian is this huge star. He needs to just sign the checks and get the fukk outta the way or they are going nowheres
He's not in touch with the casual fanbase, but he's very in touch with the dirty shirt wearing, pungent odor smelling, Cheetos eating, Minecraft playing nerds who think that Christian and Ethan Page are going to take the wrestling industry to new heights.

West where the Sunsets
the slander ain't for Christian, he's fine. It's for AEW playing itself trying to market this as some big reveal.

Christian is a big reveal. Obviously not like Sting.

Don’t blame AEW for mark’s getting hyped over a basic announcement. It’s not like they teased it for several weeks with vid packages and shyt. Didn’t Big Show say “hall of fame worthy”? :skip:

The only irony is that you said people use cac when they don't have a comeback. I've been doing nothing but praise the black excellence on display in the WWE, meanwhile you've been sucking Tony's balls every chance you get. You said I have the most posts the ratings thread when I barely even post there anymore. Face facts, You've been nothing but an AEW cheerleader since they debuted, and your little neckbeard crew are desperately trying to find a W in the massive L that was the "Revolution".:russ::russ::russ::russ::umad:

Told y'all stop smoking crack. It's not many truly huge superstars left in wrestling. And the ones that would have been "earth shattering" are either E lifers that are retired (for real) or on a legends contract.

Damn even Tony is feeling the imaginary pressure.:russ:

Now the countdown begins to when neckbeards make Sasha into the bad guy, and then constantly DM her asking her to tell Tony to reinstate Sammy asap.:mjlol:

The same Charlotte that called a black cop a Ni@@#$ when she was pulled over for being drunk:mjpls:. fukk Orton, Charlotte, her daddy Ric and the Trump loving Khan family:pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:

Tony made the mistake of trusting someone with bad intentions. Cody isn't trying to change the face of professional wrestling at all, he's trying to show Vince that he made a mistake by not making him a more important part of the WWE.

It struggles when the product is bad, but even when they've been bad the WWE still had Snickers, KFC, Skittles, Burger King & other top brands as did WCW when they were good. Any business/sport that's not making any money won't have many sponsors, and trust if the NFL ratings ever hit the low 1s then every alcohol & shoe company would jump ship. If AEW was being run better I believe that they could attract some bigger sponsors who feel like they're a part of some new exciting upstart group. I could see AEW being sponsored by Budweiser in the future if they got their shyt together.

It's not just these shows, outside of the NFL no one is doing numbers like back in the day. I troll AEW stans because it's fun to see them Juelzing logic, but the reality is that this is good for wrestling in general. The bigger question is how are the Khan family going to use this new money? They don't need a new set because the one that they have now is cool, but they need to lock up their key guys and fix the overall presentation. They also need to make sure that they don't make the same mistakes WCW did when it came to free agents and contract lengths.

And this is why the AEW fan base is laughable. Ya'll got an extension and all you can think of is the WWE, nevermind the fact that the AEW extension isn't even in the same ballpark as the WWE tv deals overall.

NXT will never beat AEW, but these fanboys are running out of excuses as to why AEW can't crack a milli anymore. Tony Khan said he doesn't want to be like WCW, but he keeps hiring ex WWE people and overpaying them like WCW did. I'm not surprised at NXT losing some of their overall viewers, because I feel the quality has taken a step back since the new year.

That's the only issue I have with this, the timing is bad and they could've afforded to keep them a little while longer. The reality is that when you look at the list there's only a few that stick out, but the majority weren't doing or weren't valuable anyway. I can easily see Gallows & Anderson being brought back if they don't decide to go elsewhere.

Unless Tony pays them out of his own pocket they're not going to sign anyone new.

I completely agree. The WWE is complicit in a lot of wrestlers not getting over, but i'm just looking at the some of the people who i felt were overhyped to begin with. This is all Vince's fault because he's doing exactly what the 2 presidents he fired told him to do a while ago. They told him the XFL was a bad idea and that they shouldn't be paying C level talent just to keep them away from other companies. Everyone but Vince knows exactly what needs to be done but Vince is still damn stubborn.

They don't cost as much to operate, AEW is the only legit competition and even that is more Tony's money than his father's money.

That's what logical fans have been saying for the longest time now, the ratings for both shows are terrible. The only reason I'm giving WWE props is because the NXT wrestlers are taking the high ground approach. AEW won like 100 weeks in a row and NXT wrestlers said nothing, NXT wins 3 straight weeks and now even Tony Khan is Juelzing.:russ:

That's not the only thing. Ratings wise they'll be ok as long as they can stay in the 800k range. Other factors like live shows and sponsorship are bigger factors. Notice how Jericho and Khan have been pushing the whole 18-49 demo jargon? That's because they really want to prove to potential sponsors that they're worth the investment. AEW also needs live shows back in the worst way, because their tv deal isn't nearly as lucrative as the the deals the WWE got.

I get Jericho and Khan going overboard with the ratings talk because it affects them directly, but Meltzer and Alvarez spout some of the most ridiculous bullshyt when it comes to the ratings and they don't work for either company(supposedly). Demos are only important if you have shytty ratings and desperately need sponsorship. The NBA has shytty ratings but they are sponsored by damn near every top company in Amerikkka, therefore a 1.3 rating doesn't hurt them nearly as much as 1.3 would hurt a wrestling company with minimal sponsors.

The jig is up, smark wrestling doesn't sell and both shows are proof. NXT has completely lost its way, and AEW is literally just throwing out random shyt and hoping that something works. Neither show has any kind of direction but at least NXT's failures can be attributed to their talents getting poached by the main roster, what's AEW's excuse? AEW has completely reneged on everything they promised before they debuted.

Bruh you literally have Tony working with other promotions and using retired celebrities to drum up interest, and you're saying NXT is taking the L?:mjlol: Who in the fukk really thought that partnering with Impact was going to lead to a ratings shift? Impact doesn't even get Velocity or Afterburn numbers.:russ: Everything TK is doing is a direct order from Warnermedia, because despite what JeriKKKo told y'all ratings do matter.

You say i'm crying about AEW beating NXT when I've gone on record laughing at both shows:umad: Oh and can you please tell me how the black wrestlers are fairing over there in AEW?:jbhmm: I already know that the TSC board hell thecoli in general is filled with cacs blackfishing, ya'll worship Tony Kahn and leave out the fact that his family is very much MAGA. It's funny how y'all aren't holding AEW to the same standard y'all hold WWE to when it comes to diversity.:patrice: Finally, You of all people calling someone a neckbeard is hilarious since your keyboard fingers are always ready to go if someone dare disrepect All Friends Wrestling:mjlol:

The only signings that justify this amount of hype are Punk & Lesnar, anyone outside of those 2 will lead to Tony being seen as nothing more than a snake oil salesman.

Vince & Tony playing the entire wrestling world would definitely be a gamechanger. Two billionaire owners becoming a heel duo would then force the wrestlers to band together and stop them. Vince & Tony would have the Samoan Bloodline, Hurt Business, Wardlow, Brian Cage & Paul Wight as their enforcers.:wow:

He's not in touch with the casual fanbase, but he's very in touch with the dirty shirt wearing, pungent odor smelling, Cheetos eating, Minecraft playing nerds who think that Christian and Ethan Page are going to take the wrestling industry to new heights.

Dear Khan I wrote you but you still ain't callin :mjcry:

that's just a quick search of Tony Khan :dead: can't imagine what an aew one looks like :picard:

You have 144 posts in that aew nxt ratings thread alone :hhh:

typical neckbeard hate watching weirdo :hhh:

I would tell you that if you dislike it so much not to watch it but you the same guy w 20 threads crying about wwe's racism and booking yet continue to support them :dead:

christian is cool but they set themselves up for instant disappointment hyping him up as some industry shifting huge superstar, it wouldve hit different without the unneeded build up that set expectations through the roof

that being said at least theres still a chance for lashley vs brock :troll:

christian being the surprise is not a disappointment to the AEW audience.

hes a smark favorite.

i dont know why yall insist on applying mark logic to a smark-based promotion.

Edge is way more relevant and he's going against the #1 heel in the business.:ohlawd:

lol @ this marky-mark chit.

double LOL @ edge bum ass.

AEW’s show was one big fail last night.
Apparently on the Spanish broadcast, they called Ethan Page, “Christian Cage” thus spoiling their own big reveal. You can’t make this shyt up....

As Paul Heyman said, when you’re a new company, you only book around 1-2 legends, as it makes them special. Once you start signing washed up WWE guys left and right, you diluting your product and moving farther into WWE’s shadow.

This is Definitely due to All the Love and Accolades Edge has gotten since returning.

And due to WWE treating him like frail fodder for Orton's rampages.

Cant call him trash but he definitely some Mid
Mid tier
Mid grade
Mid aged

Lol@ me thinking Cena or Lesnar would be associated with this shyt:mjlol:

They are using them moreso as player-coaches to help guys and girls who've never been on TV adjust. WWE was the only game in town for 20 years, so of course their managers and producers would be mostly WWE alums.
