"I'm fairly certain I do not want to attend another major. I have obviously lost all tolerance for dumbassery, chair slamming, sexism, homophobic slurs, cancer jokes, transphobia, unecessary screaming and shouting. What others find "hype" I find stupid and disrespectful. Pop off and act like a moron after sitting down and playing ALL of your matches is apparently not the way things work.
Yes, I snapped, and I do not fully know why I wanted to force the player to sit down in his chair. That is also a very scary thing personally to notice yourself doing.
Maybe it's all the stupidity I had to shrug off that day. Maybe it's the history I have with the player from other tournaments being a jackass. Regardless, I'm thinking I'm done. If these things are going to affect me this way, I shouldn't be paying to be there, especially when all I'm told to do is ignore it, that's just how it is, etc.
Beyond that, I've got a long year of therapy and such ahead of me to figure out what's been going on lately with my mood.
At this point I have no plans to attend another major, and I may drop out of everything entirely. This is supposed to be fun and not an exercise in tolerating people I find to be acting like idiots.
