vs KD Warriors, best of 7, everybody healthy

basically beef up the Cavs of that era in the front court while taking a step back at point from Irving to Agent Zero. Tony Allen finna exert all his energy on defense cuz that nikka aint scorin shyt :pachaha:Is that enough to stop the Warriors or is KD still dropping 35 every night with the splash brothers averaging another 40 to rock em to sleep?

This a flabby thread but I be playing 2K MyEra it be having you coming up with wild lineups

lowkey i think this might expose who really know they shyt, choose wisely stanleys :sas2:

Dwight is a better defender than anyone on that post 2016 Cavs roster

Tony Allen is a better perimeter defender

Dirk is a better scorer

I guess maybe if we're talking what time in the career these players are--Dirk retired in 2019

Nope it's fair to have everyone in their primes so that means Iggy and David West are in their primes too. Slide KD to the 4 Dray/West at 5 Iggy at 3 wit the back splash and it's getting spooky :scusthov::patrice:obviously running modern day ball and Dwight's effectiveness even in his prime is diminished cuz nikkas getting they lights shot out

Moral of the story Curry ran the '10s /thread

Tony Allen, in his prime ain't getting his lights shot out

And nobody is stopping 2009/2010 Dwight Howard, on that team

Dwight atleast played with legit big men and couldn't do shyt with him and he's only 6'9'

Who guarding 2006 Dirk? :mjlol:

So nobody who ever faced Curry could do shyt with him but if he ran into MUTHA fukkIN TONY ALLEN IN HIS PRIME he or Klay Thompson would be contained lmao knock it off.

In modern basketball Dwight's best abilities wouldn't account for the pace of today's game. Zero ability to shoot the 3, he'd just be a big ass rebounder eating off putbacks. nikka ain't defending the perimeter, he gonna be locking down an empty paint. Dirk would still thrive, but In this analytics driven style of basketball, you simply can not trot out Tony fukkin Allen with ANYBODY and think you will outscore KD, Steph, and Klay Thompson. It just won't happen.

@28 Gramz pick any flavor of Lebron you want, the same thing applies to you as well.

:dahell:

1. Pace was higher in the 80s and not that much different in 2009

We talk like 0.4 difference between 2009 (Finals Dwight) and 2016 (Unanimous MVP Steph)

2. That Cavs team in 2008-09 shot 40% from 3 and took 20 3's a game

The Cavs the Magic BEAT in the playoffs

3. Late 2000's basketball ain't THAT much different...nobody is making Dwight useless on defense because they can shoot...again they beat a 3pt shooting team

4. Dirk would be a problem because of his lack of Defense, may more than Dwights lack of three point shooting
