Yes, but could Tito have survived the bombs Oscar landed on Ikr?

Tito lost that fight, btw (damn those judges)

Winner of this dream bout fights a motivated Jose luis Lopez (rematch for Ike)

Oscar was too afraid to throw bombs at Tito. He won the boxing match, but lost the fight because he ran the last 2 rounds. You can't do that in a fight of that level, so its his own fault that he loss.

Now Oscar did get fukked over in the Shane rematch, but he could have prevent the Tito decision.

of course

Bob Lee of the IBF was convicted in 2000

Also, Sulaiman was in DK's pocket for decades

Exactly.
Don always had more pull at heavyweight anyway.
I think it was Teddy that said it best. Oscar won, but the way he performed in the last 2 rounds, he gave away his right to complain about the decision.

In a sport full of real robberies, I'll never defend a guy who purposely gave up rounds in a close bout, thinking he's done enough to get a decision in a mega fight no less. :hhh:
