The impact of Get Rich or Die Tryin' was massive, as a kid I remember that shyt was everywhere, every single track being bumped out people's whips. I remember parts of the Get Rich or Die Tryin' movie scenes specifically the diner scenes was filmed on my block, and when 50 was here the amount of love the hood showed him was crazy.
I remember that Hunger For More, with Banks on the $100 bill...
I had the G-Unit video game too, Blood on the Sand, kids was rocking G-Unit sneakers.
I think somebody older than me can answer this better. I feel like Uptown, Dipset was hotter and that’s probably debatable or by a hair but in the city as a whole G-Unit had it.
