The D-Block, Dipset, & G-Unit run from 01-06 was a great time. Especially in '01-02 when 50 was just starting to come onto the scene, Jada & Styles first solo albums were coming out, and Cam linked up with Rocafella.
Right before Wayne went super sayain and went on that magical run, he was at the university of Houston tryin to figure out his next move. He tried to ride that dipset wave and do a joint mixtape with juelz. It never released but he copied the formula and took it to new heights. Dipset fathered that street release mixtape, tour local clubs and small venues and get the majors to come to you with a bag wave... crazy time in the tri state
From 02 to 04 it was pretty even , but after that Dipset by miles especially when Jim Jones established byrdgang with Stacks & Max B

This is the truth. When dipset was grinding fo real with the Dipset vol. tapes, streets was fronting on em and riding with the Unit. Its when Fif cooled down and Jones, Stack and Max took the handles that it became no contest.
Harlem always rocked with the Dips harder. But the Unit had NY as a whole.
