it happened gradually and demonically. she identified herself as muslim for a while and would defend islam from the usual crowd and then she let all the attention she was getting due to the fact that she's a female get to her head and switched sides. i guess she just wanted to be a part of the majority.

I liked KOSH. He was a smart dude who brought a lot to KTL. Sometimes I had trouble following because some of the words he used, but oh well. Just because you use big words, doesn't mean you're pretentious. I've noticed my vocab has gone up hanging around more college educated people in the last couple years (I'm a high school dropout) and some people I know back home lookin at me like

I thought epg was cool, too. Honestly though I pretty much stopped posting on SOHH more or less for a couple years so I don't know what happened after I stopped being a mod.

He was arguing with someone who he obviously felt was beneath him, then in the middle of the discussion he said he had to write some incredibly nuanced article comparing Voltaire to another philosopher and then 20 minutes later popped up to argue some more. Dude just liked to be the smartest guy in the thread. Probably was on many occasions, but he was still pretentious.

He made a big scene about leaving the thread to work on a paper and named dropped Voltaire and he wouldn't be back to waste his time to argue and there he was 20 minutes later.
