Yes. He missed the games before the pandemic last season, and they weren’t allowing fans yet when they came earlier this season.

Interesting thing is TD Garden is supposed to go back to 100% capacity next weekend so depending on the 1st round schedule he may actually see a full crowd of emotional Boston cacs

That’s great to hear. A bit bittersweet for reasons but the fans are sorely missed and a full crowd honestly would’ve enhanced these sorry ass play-in games today.

Russ play was the biggest reason they started as bad as they did. Why do nikkas ignore that. He was a negative impact for most of the early season.

We saw his true colors today in a big game playoff level atmosphere. Russ has a history of getting sonned by opposing guards in the playoffs too or big games.

We can now add Kemba to that list.

He's not in the same realm of stan popularity per se, but 10-15 years from now i could see Russ looked at with the same rose-colored glasses and divisiveness as Iverson.

Big stats, highlights, and "heart"... but for the non-stans who lived through the era and watched more than just game 1 of the '01 Finals rerun on NBA TV... they'll remember the inefficient chuckin, early/bad playoff exits, and constant debates about how he's a cool guy but that play style tho..
