Funny people was great for the first hour and thats it. Honestly they should have just had sandler die of his sickness. It felt like two different movies combined into one.

Sandler got a great racket running now. It easy to see he's planning these movies around vacations he wants to take. Probably got to spend 2 months in Africa all expenses paid living like a king with his buddy Drew Barrymore. The same with those Grown Up movies where he spent 2 months up on Martha's Vineyard all expenses paid and he got to bring his buddies with him (Rock, Spade, etc) and the kicker is all these movies make a lot of money. I think Grown Ups was his biggest hit ever

My last favorite Sandler movie was the Longest Yard. Made me watch the original that i found to be i was done when he did Jack & Jill came out knew it was by the commercial.

i like the chemistry between sandler and barrymore. 50 first dates is one of my favorite movies of all time. sadly, that was the last sandler film i enjoyed. i still hold a special place for billy madison too due to my childhood. even little nicky was hilarious.
