everybody talks about the east coast anbd their lyricist

but west coast got just as many lyricist as the east

to me it is either crooked i or kurput.

I can't speak on Crooked I, cause I've never really listened to him like that...
but Kurupt, even though he was part of an all star lyrical group.....he still ain't that great, and they should have picked up a sharp artist from the South instead....

For me though, Ras Kass, Fashawn, Kendrick Lamar come to mind....

I was scrolling down the page waiting to see this answer. How do you put anyone below Kendrick? Ever. Kendrick is one of the most incredible rappers Ive ever heard spit and dude is one of the only rappers to increase his tempo mid stanza. He's the best West Coast rapper to me.
