The irony in this thread is not lost on me with everyone fantasy booking every single black talent into their stable.

These same people be having smoke for Triple H sticking all the POC together tho. :lolbron:

MVP made it clear in WWE in his promos what The Hurt Business is supposed to be about (and we love it)..

After putting way too much thought into this and looking at the AEW/ROH rosters I've got a couple iterations of the Hurt Business/Syndicate.

Goes without saying that Lashley, Shelton and MVP are locks no matter what. So I won't keep listing them.

Group 1
- Hobbs - It's kind of obvious, right?

- Lio Rush - Bit of an odd pick since he's with Top Flight but that can be severed when he sees his old friend Bobby. Rush adds youth and speed to the group. You need him to tag with Shelton or Hobbs, he can do it. Need him to go move for move vs Ospreay, Ricochet, Hologram, Pac, etc. he can do that too.

That's a nice 5 man group with size, power, speed, mouthpieces and a wild card in Rush.

Group 2
- The Infantry - May seem odd at first but you have Bobby (LEGIT ARMY SERGEANT) look at them and straighten them out and set them on the path. Now we have a legit tag team in the ranks and with a time and wins you got a viable heel tag team. A little note here. I wouldn't put Trish in the HB.

- Shane Taylor - Another talent that could shine in this environment. I just know that Shane and Bobby would butt heads, which would be by design here. Two bosses leads to a falling out. But not before Taylor gets a few months of shine. I just don't know how to separate him from Moriarty. You can't say that Lee sucks, he actually has a belt. Maybe Lee thinks he's beyond Taylor and he quits on him as opposed to the other way around. Plus there's Ogogo, but I don't know if he even lives in America. But I wouldn't waste time with him anyway. Taylor is the one I'd want.

Group 3
- Bishop Kaun - I forgot all about him since he hasn't been on tv. With MVP doing the talking, he would make a perfect midcard monster for the group. And the International Championship would look good with dreads!

- Lee Johnson - Don't know too much about the guy but I want another young guy in the stable to learn and grow with these vets. Think of the shyt he could learn from the OG 3.

Guys I thought about but said no to
- Action Andretti, young and talented and all, plus it seems he's gonna be at odds with the Martins. I just don't know if I could see him as a serious heel. He could surprise me though.

- Scorpio Sky, he just shows up and disappears. He would be a bit of a shock for like 5 minutes and then we'd all go back to not caring.

- Keith Lee, super talented and a monster in the ring but his health is just so spotty. I would hate to get hyped only for Keith to fumble again.

- Jay Lethal, they wouldn't need another vet in the group. Especially in my mind where this could be used to make new stars going forward.

- Queen Aminata, I don't want her to be heel. If Jade were still here, fukk me running I would have had her be the first person MVP talked to after setting up things with Nana. But Aminata isn't Jade. I don't feel the......"corporate" energy from Aminata.

Ricky Starks, dude would shine bright as fukk in the HB. But Ricky doesn't need the spot. He's got the tools he just needs to be on tv.

I'mma jump out the window real quick, simply for the sake of thinking outside the box.

Sammy Guevara.

hear me out :whoa:
Khan ain't about to book a proper black power grouping without at least sprinking in one of his own as the Owen. So if there's any of them that need a full-character rehabilitation, it's Sammy. And I think there's no way he isn't forced to be around this group of folk without being dragged to the gym with them.

there is also a part of me that desperately wants to see a Lashley/Darby tag team where Lashley exclusively uses Darby as a projectile for his hot tag offense :lolbron:

Very good list.
I had forgotten all about Jay Lethal.
I could see Shane Taylor as the fourth man, too. The crazy thing is that if Tony Khan had booked STP as well as Delirious did in the OG ROH, then AEW would've had their own Hurt Syndicate months ago. That could've given us an interesting power struggle on tv between STP & THB.

Nobody mentioning EJ Nduka but the last few frames of Swerve's training montage on Dynamite looked like they had him sliding Swerve another MVP business card :lupe:

EJ a HS sleeper cell in The Embassy?
