I remember catching this on HBO. This sh*t had about 3 different fights going down at the venue that night. Shyne got into it with FOD and his crew, That wack ass chick Reece put her mic down to jump in the crowd to fight some hoodrat and Young Zee's crew got into it with Shells's click. I remember RK(Dude on the left) was even on here(SOHH at the time) explaining the battle and why they censored the Outlawz/Made Men lines(So he could avoid beef)

HBO edited the hell out of this whole event because they didn't want to pay for the instrumentals of Dead Wrong, Next Episode, etc I miss the battling on beats element verses that spoken word sh*t they do now.

There were some wack cats there. The fact that Shells got so far was puzzling to me, The fact that Reece beat Pryme was a total fluke, Killa Tactics bullshytted too much to where I was surprised he got by See For, I felt Young Zee would have had a better chance if he didn't go acapella and Eyedea(RIP) was killing shyt that whole night.

HBO edited alot of it because they didn't wanna pay royalties it seemed. But the clip I posted above is the entire event with original beats and it sounds much more authentic . I'm surprised nobody got on him about his stance

Shellz could hold his own.

Shells use to give nikkas that work in the streets, seen him in a ciphers giving that work. He battle tested atleast in the street street, but it seems like he choked on stage.


Shellz is better than what he showed in that battle.

Eyedea when he faced RK(in OP) and RK got up and started dancing like he had the battle won and Eyedea hit him with the "straight up turn into a rap enhancer, this cat wants to be my fukkin backup dancer" and you could see RK's career end before his own eyes.

On a similar note: Wasnt RZA in a blaze battle? or some type of battle? i remember seeing that shyt on Rap City or something.. Rza just up in some dudes face screaming.
