I remember when I saw this on BET and was thinking that down south music elevated.

Even looking at this video now - it looks dirty but filmed so clean and with style.

The track and video aged very, very well in my opinion.

I never took to Down South other than Goodie Mobb. Then I started liking it.

There was another video that always played on bet around this time I could never remember, if anyone knows.

It was two down south artists, it was grimy as fukk. Blue hue video, then brown hue scenes. Very raspy voices, old horror farm house, they both had braids. There could have been a crow in the video.

One of the guys sounded exactly like this emcee at 3:04 on this track but it couldn't have been because it's a rare Kool Keith track but the tone and voice sounded the same.
