I always found it weird that none of the characters appeared themselves in other dikk Wolf shows like what’s been the case with other characters from his weird. It’s like they pretend the show never existed.
Wolf torpedoed the show after the main guys asked for more money. His racism :mjpls: and ego allowed a franchise show to be killed off before its peak. The show started to go downhill when they shoehorned in a white cop and made the white lieutenant’s character way too big in season 3. They also started doing more white musical acts at the end of the show.

He’s still beyond rich but there’s no reason NY Undercover couldn’t be a decade long staple like Law and Order.

The funny thing is that a lot of the early guest stars and perps have. For example im watching early season 1. And the chick that plays Ayana Bell on the new Law and Order organized crime spin off. Is there playing a basketball player that OD's Girlfriend.

And so far one of the Harris brothers (the cop one from BMF) has played 2 different perp's in season 1. I love this show of the era the music and cause they filmed alot around my way.

Also making a show like this now a days would be damn near impossible with all the dope music and Musical guest every episode. The Budget would be too crazy.

Different characters though. I mean actors/actresses who’ve played the same character on multiple shows or in the dikk Wolf show universe.
