My father.

One of the first books he ever taught me to read was this

He made sure when we as kids wanted reading material we had access to THESE

He taught us about African Culture and African American history and our status as the original human beings. He showed us movies like Roots, Sankofa, Malcolm X, and Documentaries like Eyes On The Prize, all before the age of 12. He made SURE that any GI Joe or action figure I wanted was the black version (same for my sisters with barbies and dolls)

He made each of me and my siblings read these books and write him a book report

When I grew older and had a love for Fantasy, instead of Lord Of a The rings he brought me this

My father didn't play when it came to is having pride in ourselves and our heritage.

I love my pops:blessed:

:francis: For a group of posters on this site that hates on Islam, and black muslims...............

There is a black Muslim in almost every post that doesn't say 'parents'....... and most of those parents were influenced by black muslims:francis:

anyway, my father... told me to watch my white teachers and not to trust anything a white person says.
Then in the 7th grade ( I was very immature) I called my shop teacher a cum mouth because he had something white on his mouth... and some other kids called him cum mouth and I was laughing n shyt and being ignorant and he tried to hit me with a ruler and yelled and called another boy a monkey.

:wow: He wiled out.

But Im glad he did that because I haven't been the same since. :ehh:

My pops. One of my earliest memories was him telling me the white man is the devil. Hopefully I can pass those same truths down to my kids :wow:
