The year he won the assist title cements him as the GOAT stat padder.Yea I forgot about the sh!t Wilt would do, wouldn't he play like the whole game and not sub out to make sure he gets all his stats up and sh!t? I forgot i remember reading some article about that sh!t....
Played behind two forwards who split time and scored a combined 43 goals and for a team that set a record high on the table and had 4 players finish in the top ten in assists, he one of them.Another one

Has historically played well with a host of other attack minded players and never hampered any of their performances unlike Messi who crippled Zlatan and now Villa.
Consummate team player. Proven.
Never been accused of being a racist, either. Which is entirely relevant to this discussion.
Doesn't change the fact he plays in meaningless games and risks injury/burnout just to stat pad
I remember that sh!t...it got revoked too.Bron.....he only makes passes that'll get him assists
rarely ever see the hockey pass from Bron which leads to the pass that gets the assists
plus we all saw him fighting his teammates for rebounds in 09 to get that triple double against the Knicks after Kobe scored 61
LeBron James' historic triple-double is just that. History.
The NBA on Friday took away one of James' 10 rebounds in Wednesday's 107-102 win over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. That left him one rebound shy of making him the first player to score at least 50 points while registering a triple-double since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it in 1975.
James, who had 52 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in his postgame statline, was incorrectly given a rebound with 39.3 seconds left. As he appeared to be falling out of bounds, Ben Wallace tapped the rebound to James, who was credited with his ninth rebound of the night, putting the feat of a triple-double within sight. The NBA, however, ruled that Wallace controlled the rebound and passed it to James, meaning that Wallace should have been awarded his second rebound of the game.
In its release explaining the statistical correction, the NBA said it reviews all games to make sure the stats are accurate.
Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni threw out one of his typical funny lines when asked about the NBA's ruling.
"I was looking for the 10 points," D'Antoni said, drawing laughter. "Rebounding doesn't really help us a lot."
Hate to say it, but A.I.
naw....A.I. just liked to shoot
just cause a player is aggressive offensively doesn't mean he's a stat padder
to me stat padding is guys who fight their teammates for rebounds......only pass when they'll get an assists.......don't take the heave shots at the end of quarters cause they don't wanna hurt their fg%.....or who gamble for steals/blocks and leave their teammates out an island once the gamble doesn't pay off
Kobe for example ain't a stat padder cause I've never seen him fight for rebounds, care whether his pass gets an assists or not. Plus he chose to sit out the last game this season eventhough he coulda won the scoring title.
