If you look at the production discographies, it’s really not even close. Just has way more classic beats. He never helmed a classic album though outside of Saigon. That definitely drops him down the all time ranking list.
That’s where there’s an argument. In the 00’s Just is the answer I think. Bink has had a resurgence though while Just has been very quiet. In another few years if it keeps going this way, I’d probably still vote Just, but their discographies could be closer than many think.Bink is still going strong and even evolving his sound, haven't heard from Just in a while
All my life is so slept on. Glad you also think line em up is better than flipside. What we do and Line Em Up >>> Flipside if we just talking Freeways album.
But Bink! Did All My Life on that album and that beat is crazy
Just but its closer than yall think
While Just may not have helmed a classic, he certainly had his hand in several. If you look at the production discographies, it’s really not even close. Just has way more classic beats. He never helmed a classic album though outside of Saigon. That definitely drops him down the all time ranking list.
I concur.Just but its closer than yall think

There’s a lot of throwaway beats on that album. It’s a dope album (I was listening to it today) but it’s not a classic. He produced pretty much the whole of "Philadelphia Freeway" and that whole album bangs.
The only thing holding Just back is his output in the last 10 years. I feel like we're lucky if we get 2 beats a year from him.
If it wasn't for Just biting Bink, he would've had a short career making Swizz Beatz knock offs
Good question. In 2001 and that whole decade period, I would've chosen Just without thinking about it. This decade though starting with "Devil In A New Dress", Bink! has leveled up and probably has surpassed Just. His work on Ross's last album was crazy. His version of Nas's "Echo" is equally as incredible.
