The original Dead Space was a legit survival horror game. It was creepy (genuine atmosphere), the story was good and the pacing was perfect. You never knew what to expect around the next corner.

Dead Space 2 ruined all of that. The story and pacing were garbage and they eliminated almost all of the atmosphere. It turned into a generic action game. DS2 was a corridor shooter. All you did was go into a room, get swarmed by enemies and blast your way out. Rinse, repeat for 8-10 hours. It was tiring and that's all you did.

downloading it now but I never play a game before it's actually released that's how people up the risk of being banned, just know I'll be ready to go bright and early on the 5th (besides I'll prolly have to buy a online pass to play)

I was the same way, & then Reach leaked; I think maybe they only ban for certain games. Yeah, DS3 needs the online pass for Co-Op, I dunno why I wasn't expecting that

I played it and liked it. I never played part 1 or 2 so I'm a little bit lost on how to use every gun effectively and also the other abilities. Don't understand crafting much but I guess u get use to it after a while. The only thing I don't like is how slow you move compared to the enemies. I try to run away and get a little distance and they jump on my back with ease its frustrating. Is there a way to do a quick 180 turn ?

Ill probably cop first day. I need a fast paced game to play.
