Got mine through claiming an offer on the Dead Space Facebook page. Downloading now, will play later today.
I played it and liked it. I never played part 1 or 2 so I'm a little bit lost on how to use every gun effectively and also the other abilities. Don't understand crafting much but I guess u get use to it after a while. The only thing I don't like is how slow you move compared to the enemies. I try to run away and get a little distance and they jump on my back with ease its frustrating. Is there a way to do a quick 180 turn ?

best tip is stasis, shoot one leg off and then arm...that works for most standard necromorphs...
stasis isn't really required though,
