Zab's losses are what really hurt him. You can forgive the elite ones like Kostya, Floyd, Spinks, and Cotto. He was up it against Khan, Clottey, and Swift but he should have beat at least 1 of them. The Lucas win helps him in that regard tho. Had no business losing to Baldomier and Paulie tho. People talk about his longevity, but forget how we all used to collectively sigh when Zab kept getting marquee fights even after so many losses. He became the original jobber to the stars.
Taylors losses were devastating, but they came against a certain caliber of fighter. Zab lost too many winnable fights for me to say he had a better career.

Zab was still showing glimpses when he was in that borderline gatekeeper/contender role. Once Taylor lost to Froch in the dying seconds he was done.
